I'm 5o-something years old and live in Ypsilanti, Michigan. I'm happily married to Jodie. I was an air traffic controller for 33 years and recently retired; grew up in the Chicago area, and am still a fanatic for pizza and the Chicago Bears. My main interest is military history, and my related hobbies include scale model building and strategy games.
Here’s a biggie, it is listed “on my workbench!”
It’s a very complex build, and that means it will be slow. But I’m pleased with the kit and expect it to come out well.
I’ve got one of those in 1/72 in the stash with all the aftermarket bells & whistles. High on the list, but has always just managed to get bumped from being next on the bench so far.
Any hints Dave?
Definitely 1/48 scale…

It is not a small project! I tried the Eduard “Space” set, really a striking look… that is already all closed up in the interior!
