I was an air traffic controller for 33 years and recently retired; grew up in the Chicago area, and am still a fanatic for pizza and the Chicago Bears. My main interest is military history, and my related hobbies include scale model building and strategy games.

      Yeah that’s the Pershing. The nose of the Betty is visible at the right edge of the photo, and the Thunderbolt, still mostly on sprues, is visible bottom right. So that’s the whole current “On My Workbench!”

    “grey, fat, balding” ??? That’s a rather harsh thing to say about a man with an immaculate top, immaculate jeans and a harmless hobby.
